Celebrate Love with These 20 Creative Valentine’s Day Ideas
Valentine’s Day is a special time of the year, as it gives us a reason to reflect on the power of love. Today’s post is a celebration of all types of love: love for friends, love for family, and yes, romantic love. Whether you’re a part of a couple or you’re happily single, there are many ways to celebrate February 14th, and I’ve always used this holiday as an excuse to be creative. Receita de família: vinagrete de polvo
Acreditamos que receitas de família sejam pequenos tesouros guardados no paladar, no olfato e na memória de cada um de nós. Aqui no Vamos Receber temos o privilégio de trabalhar com quem mais entende de boa comida, mas também damos muito valor a esses pequenos tesouros, que nos acompanham durante toda a vida.
O Vinagrete de Polvo de Dona Lene é um deles.
Dona Lene não é chef profissional mas, ao longo dos anos, tornou-se responsável por lindas lembranças trazidas por receitas deliciosas sem as quais nossas reuniões de família não seriam as mesmas.
A receita desse vinagrete maravilhoso de Dona Lene vocês conferem a seguir. Os ingredientes estão abaixo e a quantidade indicada serve 4 pessoas.
Modo de preparo
1. Cozinhe o polvo por aproximadamente 15 minutos com folha de louro e sal. Corte o polvo em pedaços pequenos.
2. Em uma panela, doure metade da cebola indicada acima com azeite e uma pitada de sal.
3. Adicione o polvo e misture bem rápido. Desligue o fogo.
4. Adicione o tomate, o pimentão, o restante da cebola, o coentro, a cebolinha e misture tudo.
5. Acrescente o vinagre.
Vale aproveitar que o final de semana está chegando para testar essa gostosura, e, em torno dela, criar suas próprias – e belas – memórias.

Décor do dia: geometria technicolor
O recanto acima, criado pela alemã Cleo Scheulderman, é um ótimo exemplo de como o uso de formas e cores bem escolhidas é capaz de dar alma única a um ambiente. Para começar, a designer de interiores escolheu um tema: grafismos geométricos. As linhas retas que formam triângulos nas almofadas foram incorporadas também pela parede, fazendo uma interessante brincadeira de escalas que conecta os dois itens. A cartela de nuances variadas, que começa por tons dessaturados de verde, rosa, cinza e segue até um vibrante azul, se espalha com harmonia dentre os desenhos formados, pela mobília e pelos acessórios, como a luminária pendente. Mas a técnica usada só é bem-sucedida graças a um contraponto de sobriedade. Enquanto o piso cimentício adiciona cinza, as outras paredes pincelam muito branco. Para completar, um tapete rapé injeta charme vintage sem sair do espectro cromático.

A arte de encaixotar lembranças
O poder que as embalagens têm de transformar o produto sempre foi um tema que inspirou a criação de Tove Jeppsson Bohlin. Mas em seu último projeto, a jovem sueca resolveu explorar caminhos mais filosóficos e fez para si uma pergunta inquietante: e se fosse possível empacotar memórias? Como resultado nasceu o visualmente instigante projeto Packaging Memories, um híbrido entre a sua área de estudo e a arte.
"Eu tenho uma verdadeira fascinação pela memória, a forma como ela muda e como as recordações podem ser claras ou obscuras", conta Tove à Casa Vogue. "No meu trabalho costumo transformar ideias concretas em algo abstrato e, ao experimentar o sentido inverso, faço um desafio ao meu processo criativo."
Usando caixas de acrílico como envólucros para espaços vazios simbolizados por diversos tipos de papel, a designer representou, através de diferentes aspectos visuais, como seria se fosse possível encaixotar lembranças. "Formas e cores podem ser, de imediato, associadas à sentimentos, características fortemente ligadas à memória. Um formato redondo, por exemplo, pode fazer referência a algo positivo ou negativo, dependendo de quem você é. O mesmo acontece com as associações que fazemos com nossas recordações. Cada um lida de uma forma", explica ela.
E como uma alegoria de um possível controle da mente, a designer sugere procedimentos que podem ser feitos com sua obra. Ao manipular os formatos dentro dos invólucros translúcidos – seja trocando suas tampas ou os empilhando – nasce a capacidade de criar novas formas e nuances mentais. "O controle da mente é algo que eu adoraria ter. Seria maravilhoso!", confessa ela.
