Snæfellsnes peninsula is a beautiful part of Iceland. The westernmost part is a national park and there you can find this dramatic shoreline. These cliffs are called Svörtuloft (Black skies). many ships have smashed against those rocks and many men lost there lives through the ages.
The weather was nice and calm the day I was there but in high winds huge waves smash against these cliffs
