Premature snows and storm begin an imminent morning departure in search of almost vital autumnal visions!
In time or the wind takes leaves of former days.. It is almost too late to avoid my banks of pines, thorns and gingerbread for an athletic ascent of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the direction of clouds.
Around the lakes of Ayous, some sculptures frosted at the top of a waterfall while “le pic du midi”, him, seems to have caught a cold and threads its scarf, escapes, a black mass swirls, imprisons the light and plunges the atmosphere into an atmosphere of solar eclipse.

Neiges précoces et tempête amorcent un départ matinal imminent en quête de visions automnales.. presque vitales!
Au temps ou le vent en emporte les feuilles d’antan.. Il est presque trop tard pour fuir mes rivages de pins, d’épines et de pain d’épices pour une athlétique ascension des Pyrénées-Atlantiques en direction des nuages.
Aux abords des lacs d’Ayous, quelques sculptures givrées au sommet d’une cascade pendant que le pic du midi, lui, semble avoir pris froid et enfile son écharpe, s’échappe, une masse noire tourbillonne, emprisonne la lumière et plonge l’atmosphère dans une ambiance d’éclipse solaire.

After three consecutive workshops (two backcountry camping workshops), I took the day for myself to hike the Virgin River Narrows, a place that I have spent a lot of time shooting in the past. The weather was perfect on this day, crystal clear and hot, for a refreshing afternoon up the river. The downfall was it was crowded….more people then I have ever encountered in the Narrows, but I made the best of it!
While I was set up on this composition, I had to wait a good deal of time for the crowds to come down canyon before I could take the shot. Some guy walked within 5 feet behind me and stood there with this annoyed expression. He was obviously pissed that I was taking so long to capture the image. I assured him that I would be done asap, but maybe it was a better idea if he found his own comp instead of stomping mine! He didn’t like my advice 🙂
It’s so lame when someone just walks right up on you and sets up exactly where you’re shooting…I mean come on is that the best you can do. When I see another photographer working I shot I avoid it like the plague because whats the point in being involved in a creative medium if your not going to be creative! rant over….soapbox departed…moving on. http://flic.kr/p/p1nWtd
Winter Garden Atrium – Manhattan by afer92
The Winter Garden Atrium is a 10-story glass-vaulted pavilion on Vesey Street in New York City’s World Financial Center. Originally constructed in 1988, and substantially rebuilt in 2002, the Atrium houses various plants, trees and flowers, and shops. The rear of the building opens onto the World Financial Center Plaza and the North Cove Yacht Harbor on the Hudson River.
