Parque Lage is a public park and a Art School facility at the base of Corcovado (which atop lay the famous Christ statue). The area and buildings were a former residence of an industrial family, the main mansion was remodeled during the 1920’s. The whole place became a public park in the 1960’s including the forest and walking trials to the Corcovado. Photo made inside the main house’s inner garden. I chose B&W processing to enhance the statue contrast due to the wide iPhone lens perspective.
