On the very first morning I got up very early with the specific purpose, to photograph the sunrise, I got this sunrise as a reward. The sunlight licks the wooden jetty, and the clouds mirror in the completely smooth water on summer’s day. The Sun rises over the Fiord of Roskilde, my hometown. Roskilde is the first capital of Denmark, and you can find many historic and interesting sites. During the past millennium, many of the kings have been buried in Roskilde.
