Mount Tamalpais State Park is located near the heart of Marin County along the Bolinas Ridge and California coast. This pretty area is only a few short miles from San Francisco and is a breathtaking sight and experience to be hold during the “golden hour” while the mist and fog comes swirling in. I’ve only had a chance to visit this area a few times during last summer. I enjoyed the steep short hikes up the forested hills onto the Bolinas Ridgeline. It’s fun to wander through the grasses and trees in hopes to find a lovely composition while the light and mist join together through the trees and offer a beautiful scene. This is such an ethereal and peaceful part of the San Francisco Bay Area. I’ll be back!
