Eye of the Pacific by landESCAPEphotography | jeff lewis A carpet of lupine blankets the hills of Big Sur, CA. Matt Walker (rootswalker) and I saw the potential for a good sunset and decided to make the drive and hike up into the hills to see how the flowers were doing. It turned out to be an evening of great light and great company. The sky burned pretty hard a few minutes later, but my heart went with the shot that still had the lupines glowing in the warm sunlight, so I went with this one!

Thanks for stopping by; I always appreciate any feedback, especially since this is one of my first wildflower images and I’ve been dabbling in different kinds of shots lately.
