This squirrel was enjoying a nut while sitting on the wall outside the Island Park Pavilion. I photographed it for about six minutes. Once it finished the nut, it took interest in me. The squirrel started bounding toward me, periodically pausing to check me out. Eventually it was within arm’s reach. That was closer than I liked, so I stood up and stepped back, and the squirrel scampered away.
