Yuyuantan Park is a huge open space west of Tiananmen Square at the southern end of the Sanlihe Road. Visitors can catch a canal boat here from near the park’s south gate to the Summer Palace.
The park is centered around the Yuyuantan Lake and there is much to enjoy here, especially for children, with an aquatic park, bicycle hire and a variety of child-friendly amusements.
