A sanmon is the most important gate of a Japanese Zen Buddhist temple, and is part of the Zen shichidō garan, the group of buildings that forms the heart of a Zen Buddhist temple.
In this temple there is a flame which is said to have been burning since its foundation, for more than 1200 years
The temple is beautiful, the light was great.
