My favourite view above Ljubljana at sunset. It was the only day in the week with rain, but the forecast look very promising for the afternoon as it should clear up, which higher the expectations for some nice colors of the sunset. We hike the castle hill in Ljubljana and put out our tripods and gear on one of my favorite views above the city. As always, mr. Murphy showed up as one of the locals started a fire on his backyard and the smoke started to block the view. We were patient and luckily the guy listened to some higher voices as at the best light of the day the smoke faded and we could take some great shots of the view. Later we were joined by another photographer, but he was a bit late and also the smoke started to reappear. Still, we got away with some amazing shots.
The photograph is a blended photograph of tree photos, using one for sky, one for city and one for the lights. Blended in photoshop and some final retouch with Color Efex Pro 4 and Viveza 2 by Nik Software.
