This entire day was cloudy with the sun totally obscured all the way towards early evening. Originally the plan was to capture the sunset at two different locations but it was very close to last light when I left the first location. Despite rushing to this second location along Merced River, once I had set up my equipment, the sun had already gone down and the alpenglow on the mountains had disappeared. Trusting my instincts, I stayed put in the growing darkness. To my delight, after the sun had set entirely over the mountains, we were greeted with a brilliant display of orange and pink hues against the evening sky, which became more intense by the minute. I managed a few quick captures before the performance was over as fast as it had started. Keep in touch and get inspired | http://www.truphotos.com | http://ift.tt/1gqtrUU | http://ift.tt/1SxPLv2
