In honor of Earth Day, here’s another photo from Meteora, Greece. At Meteora, ancient monasteries are built high on pillars of stone – monolithic sandstone rocks formed over thousands of years. The region feels otherworldly, like it shouldn’t exist on this earth. But it does. And it’s existence shows that our world is full of wonder, full of places that take our breath away.
