Barnafossar…The Childrens Waterfall. by Nobby1968 Western Iceland. Barnafoss is located on the Hvita river, a glacial force running out of the lava fields. Legend has it that there was an arch over the river, one day, two local boys fell into the river and were swept away. The mother ordered the arch to be demolished in her anguish.
