Shot with a fisheye lens over a cliff with an inverted tripod in order to get the camera as close to those beautiful flowers as possible. This is a combination of two exposures, one for the flowers and one for the sky and water. Ideally, I would have shot this with an ND filter to get the water creamy since there are no great waves, however I still haven’t purchased a filter holder, thus making it impossible to use any filter on this fisheye (no threads).
“Funny story”: Just before this was taken, a group of dogs came running my way, so my girlfriend picked up my camera bag, and to my horror I heard and saw my brand new 85mm f/1.4 lens jumping out of the bag and rolling towards the edge of the cliff. I was saved by about 10cm (4 inches for you imperials). As you can imagine I was still a bit shaky thereafter as my new lens would have fallen from 10m (32ft) into the sea water..
So for all you girlfriends out there, please be careful with our precious equipment and we shall continue to love you as much as said equipment.
