. . . A famous bend in the Colorado River just below Lake Powell in Arizona has a special place in the hearts of most photographers! My special place is called “sheer terror” because in order to get the full side to side width of the river, you need to climb out on rocks with no restraints at all, and look over a 1,000 foot (300 m) sheer drop to the river below! I probably looked quite silly slithering out to the edge on my belly!
Just for scale, can you find the camper and two boats tied to the shore in the lower middle of the picture? Scared yet?
