One perk of traveling west is that the time change makes it easy to get up early. I walked down to the Embarcadero from my hotel and knew I was in for a spectacular sunrise as soon as the sun started peaking through the clouds. It didn’t last long, but it was one of those spectacular “sky on fire” sunrises that photographers dream of! 1 second exposure at f/11, 19mm.
