Sig Nordal

The Kennedys of Carrick who ruled over much of South Western Scotland were given the lands in 1357, but the remains of Dunure Castle date back to only 15th-16th Century. Mary Queen of Scots was said to have stayed in the castle for 3 days during her third trip round the west of the country.
