Manastırı inşa etmek 22 yıl sürmüş ve rahiplerin buraya zorluklarla ulaşması, bir ödül olarak görülmüş. Tepeye malzemeler bugün de basit bir halat sistemiyle çıkarılıyor. 20. yüzyıla kadar ziyaretçiler manastırı halatlarla yukarı çekilerek çıkarılıyormuş. Günümüzde ise 195 basamaklı bir merdiveni aştıktan sonra ulaşabiliyorsunuz. Zirvede, mahşerin üzücü tasvirlerinin yapıldığı fresklervardır…Meteora….Kalambaka…Yunanistan….Mayıs 2016
