Selected: Color Grading by PierrePelli

There is something very annoying when you want to share pictures on the internet. You do hours of post processing until the colors and everything suits you.
Then you save your work as a JPEG and the picture is not the same already.
After that you have to pull through the big matter of RGB/sRGB/AdobeRGB profiles on your camera and on your screen. So you calibrate your screen, and now you see right colors, but people who see your work does not necessarily calibrate their screen.. To finish it all, the internet site where you put your work can degrade the quality of you file in addition to everything else.
So you will not see what i see on my screen, but i did my best, this evening, to adjust all this parameters to offer you a picture that is the closer of what i see on my screen. I think there is still some issues on contrasts and colors saturation but it does not matter. Cannot do better.

So here is a simple shot, single exposure, with a soft work on colors and contrast. Concerning the “Save for the Web” matter, i highly recommend to uncheck the evil setting “Convert to sRGB” if you want to your picture that you have on your screen will look like to the picture you are saving.

Thank you – Peace
