It was a terrible day, cold and with a lot of rain, but i planned all my week for having free this day so i woke up, took my camera and went outside. It rained all the day, with a terrible wind, except 5 or 10 minutes in which i took this photo. The light colors the clouds and that’s the result : a strange but beautiful violet sky. Hope you could enjoy it.

It was a rainy and cold sunday at the beginning of March here in Germany, and there were no windmills under a beautiful sky in sight 🙂

So I decided to start a short trip to the famous Eltz Castle (German. Burg Eltz), a mediaval castle nestled in the hills above the Moselle River between Koblenz and Trier, Germany.

I found in the Internet an information, that the castle is actually closed – so perfect to take a picture from outside without people .

Very interesting is also the point, that this castle is still owned by a branch of the same family that lived there in the 12th century, 33 generations ago! And probably a special castle ghost too!
