I took this shot at Bombo last year, 110 Km from Sydney.

The rock formation at Bombo are really dark, almost appear to be black during the night.

At the beginning we were trying to lighten the foreground up with headlight, but the result wasn’t acceptable as the reflection was too bright.

After a while, cloud started to appear, which bounced the light to the foreground and produced a better result Photograph by ShihuaZhang ShihuaZhang. On a dark and dull winter day with loads of snowfall these two wonderful Japanese aka Red Crowned Cranes went through with their loud greeting ceremony as if it were the most normal thing in the world 🙂
