In Bardenas Reales in Spain, we had to walk over 20km to get to our shooting location up in the desert hills. We hiked through canyons, desert and were facing rain and snow storms on our journey. After we finally found the entrance of the canyonwalk upwards and spent some time up there in heavy winds, I took some night pictures up the trail. This shot is, however, a composite from the desert landscape with a milky way shot I took a bit later. Amazing scenery..

Dolomites – Italia

Sometimes we hope that the weather changes, but sometimes it doesn’t change.
You expect the embrace of a devastating sunset, which unfortunately doesn’t come.
You stay hours in the cold with cold hands and the wind whipping your face.

But in the end…you’re extremely happy with what you do and happy to be there…in that moment.
