Taken in Palouse Fall, WA after the sunset. The park is in the middle of nowhere but actually is quite popular on weekends. There is a small trail down to the bottom of the fall, which is quite challenging not only because of the slippy path but also due to the rattlesnakes hidden in the grass.

While the host of other photographers on that day’s outing headed to a nearby bridge for a classic sunset shot, I camped out by this smaller cycle bridge at Daegu ARC complex to capture cyclists riding under the setting sun. Winning the ‘Photo’ category in Koreabridge’s Best of 2014 Photofest convinces me to keep doing things my way.
