Sunrise in Lake Rotorua by wjin by wjin

Rotorua is a town located on New Zealand’s North Island, and is famous for its Maori culture and geothermal activities. There are large amounts of birds nesting near the lake. I was lucky to stay in a hotel just besides Lake Rotorua. During the sunrise, I saw a golden sky with flying birds and geothermal gas.

Flooded church by m1cx8fyeap by m1cx8fyeap

In 1972, the waters of the Kanev reservoir was flooded village Husince. Local residents settled on the city, and everything else just died in the water. At the edge of this village was the church, which miraculously survived and is in the middle of the Dnieper on a small island.
Photo taken at sunset before the storm.
