The “Cathedral Group” of peaks in Wyoming’s Teton Range, capped by Grand Teton at 13,775 feet, glow through the fog on a moonlit winter night.

This was shot from the very same Snake River Overlook made famous by Ansel Adams – an example of how something different can always still be done at iconic locations.

Sometimes it´s the photo itself and not words which provides the best description! I was just on a partly frozen lake close to beautiful Mount Rainier and tried to catch this blockbuster.

“The Road to Zion”

Here is the first image from my recent South West trip with Erin Babnik, Justin Grimm and Susan Holt. We made our way through Zion National Park for sunset. I was stunned and amazed by the sheer scale of the peaks that surround the valley.
We stopped at the famous Watchman Tower bridge and saw a line of photographers set up to shoot. I was not extremely impressed by the view point so we hiked up the hill to catch a view that better represented the grandeur of the park. During sunset some amazing glowing light illuminated all of the peaks and I felt the best way to show the whole scene would be to do a large panorama.

This is Emil Hegle Svendsen who is a biathlete(ski shooting) and his nickname is Supersvendsen.
The picture was made for a magazine called MANN in Norway and they wanted a picture that had a reference to Supersvendsen and Superman.
I saw a picture once of a guy tearing his skin of from his shoulder and he had a shirt under his skin. I thought about mixing that and Superman where he tears his shirt apart and the “S” shows.
We searched the internet for tutorials etc. and we found this http://tiny.cc/bdbabx, which is the same thing. This helped me a lot to shoot and make the picture in Photoshop.
