Stellar Star over Still Creek by Gary Randall After all of the monsoon rains that we’ve had here in Oregon the forests are ripe with fresh streams and waterfalls, many are in creek beds that only see water during this time of the year.

Still Creek is on the north side of Hunchback Mountain and is in the shade a lot, which the moss loves. It’s a mossy paradise. Today’s awesome weather gave Darlene and I some nice green mossy conditions for shooting creeks. Typically not a sunny day activity, the filtered light was nice and warm and not too harsh at all, and in this case I used it to my advantage. http://flic.kr/p/kYxThV

Water attack by alonsodr Due to a Flickr bug, lots of contact´s photos can´t be seen. If you use Firefox, this is a Mozilla script which solves the problem. Just install it :)) / Debido a un error en Flickr, muchas de las fotos de la página de contactos no aparecen. Para los que utilizáis Firefox, os dejo un script de Mozilla que resuelve el problema. Indiana Jones and Yoda Statues by www78 One of many small towns in the Mid-Marin area, San Anselmo is like the others quite wealthy but yet retains a small-town feel. Van Morrison once wrote a song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpcsThJEgWM “Snow in San Anselmo” about the first time in 30 years snow hit the town when he was living nearby.

However San Anselmo’s most famous resident was George Lucas, who used his profits from “American Graffiti” to purchase a Victorian in town. For the next two years he wrote the original “Star Wars” and screened the first cut with a group of friends including Alan Ladd, Jr., Steven Spielberg, Brian DePalma, and Martin Scorsese.

In 2013, George Lucas purchased a difficult-to-sell property near Town Hall and razed it, creating a public space “Imagination Park”. The centerpiece of the park is a fountain depicting two of Lucas’ most famous creations, Indiana Jones and Yoda. Both sculptures were created by Lawrence Noble.
