Skagsanden is my favorite beach in Lofoten, and with good reason. Part of what makes it so interesting are these tree-like patterns. This one was especially large and intricate, and even had several ‘springs’ bubbling inside it. Found this nice vantage point looking towards Bedal and Sloan Peaks while out hiking a few weeks back and couldn’t pass up the chance to come back and photograph it with some nice evening light. I originally processed this in color but I think I prefer the monochrome version seen here.
