L’Hemisfèric (span. El Hemisférico) is the cultural building, planetarium and cinema in the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, Spain.
The building was designed by Santiago Calatrava and opened on 16 April 1998 as the first building of the City of Arts and Sciences in dried-out riverbed of the Turia.

The architect designed the building as a colossal human eye – the eye of wisdom, which is intended to symbolize the audiovisual experience of visitors when viewing the demonstrations. ________________________________Quote: Wikipedia

The Louvre in Paris, France is a historic monument and the most visited museum of the world, receiving more than 9.2 million visitors only in 2014. The Louvre Palace was originally built in the late 12th century and was extended many times. The Louvre Museum opened during the time of the French Revolution in 1793. The project Grand Louvre was initiated by the former french president Mitterand in 1983. In the year 1989 the new entrance of the museum under the famous glass pyramid from the architect M. Pei was completed.
