Hotel Saratoga is a reminder how Havana could look like, if the right investors get an opportunity. Originally opened as a 3 story building in 1879, it was added to in 1925. Saratoga was a centre of Havana culture in the years before revolution. Overlooking the Capitolio and Parque de Fraternidad, it is in prime location. After years of neglect from 60’s to 1990’s, when it was uninhabitable and closed, it was rebuilt. Saratoga opened again in 2005 as a 5 star hotel. A room for a night, with breakfast will cost you $541.17 (Canadian) in a city, where you can get hotel for about $50 (in my case) and private room for $25-$30). A Cuban can probably live for the $541 a whole year.

Nidaros Cathedral is a Church of Norway, located in the city of Trondheim in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. Built over the burial site of Saint Olaf, the king of Norway in the 11th century, who became the patron saint of the nation.
It was such a clear sky in Trondheim with dabulous northern light . It was so strong that you could see the dancing light even inside the city with all those light pollutions.
