El Albayzín (also Albaicín) is a district of the city Granada, Spain. It is characterized by the narrow winding streets of its Medieval Moorish past.

From the Alhambra palace and fortress complex, one has a great view of the city of Granada and the neighboring district El Albayzín. Visible in the back of the photo are the different parts of Sierra surrounding Granada.

It was a terrible day, cold and with a lot of rain, but i planned all my week for having free this day so i woke up, took my camera and went outside. It rained all the day, with a terrible wind, except 5 or 10 minutes in which i took this photo. The light colors the clouds and that’s the result : a strange but beautiful violet sky. Hope you could enjoy it.
