Ancient Market of Thessaloniki
The Roman Forum of Thessaloniki, which for some three centuries was city’s main reference point and administrative center, was built in Thessaloniki at the end of the 2nd century. and the first third of the 3rd century. A.D. It was built as something similar to the Greek market, but with the archetype of Rome.
During the early Christian period the complex of the Roman Agora suffered changes, but has retained some of its functions as the city’s social center.

Mariánský most is a bridge for the road transport, bicycles and pedestrians in the city of Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic. It was opened in 1998 and is the third one in the city. It was designed by the architect Roman Koucký.

The Lion of Venice is an ancient bronze winged lion sculpture in the Piazza San Marco of Venice, Italy, which came to symbolize the city — as well as one of its patron saints, St Mark — after its arrival there in the 12th century. The sculpture surmounts one of two large granite columns in the Square, thought to have been erected between 1172 – 1177 during the reign of Doge Sebastiano Ziani or about 1268, bearing ancient symbols of the two patron saints of Venice.
