Lake Louise Canada by Litchi A photoshoot I’m not likely to ever forget- The colours and light changed so quickly I barely had time to think about composition and settings.
Not even my little Rebel with the bloody heavy Sigma 18-200mm could mess this up easily.
A half an hour of bliss in what surely has to be the most beautiful (and photographed) spots in the world. http://flic.kr/p/8jCpK2

Salt sea sedimentary at Cap de Creus – Spain by PhotoGSuS Cap de Creus is a peninsula and a headland located at the far northeast of Catalonia, some 25 kilometres south from the French border. The cape lies in the municipal area of Cadaqués, and the nearest large town is Figueres, capital of the Alt Empordà and birthplace of Salvador Dalí. Cap de Creus is the easternmost point of Catalonia and therefore of mainland Spain and the Iberian Peninsula.
The area is a Natural Park.
The peninsula has an area of 190 square kilometres of an extraordinary landscape value; a windbeaten very rocky dry region, with almost no trees, in contrast with a seaside rich in minuscule creeks of deep blue sea to anchor. Mountains are the eastern foothills of the Pyrenees, the natural border between France and Spain. The region is frequently swept by awful north wind “tramontana” (beyond mountains) which has caused many naval disasters. Cadaqués is the most well known village, home of artists and writers, with sophisticated atmosphere, near Port Lligat where Dalí built his home in a paradise small bay. http://flic.kr/p/v2WmPC

‘A Sea of Sand’, Vietnam, Mui Ne, Sand Dunes by WanderingtheWorld (www.ChrisFord.com) Portfolio | Travel Blog | Tumblr | Youtube |Contact Me
Below is an excerpt from my travel blog. Cheers..
I’ve never been to a desert before, at least not one where the sand dunes roll up and down as far as the eye can see. On top of never experiencing this before, the last place I expected to first encounter this is in Vietnam. My last stop in this amazing country was the coast. One of the nicer beach resorts is called Mui Ne. Here you have beautiful beaches but also beautiful golden colored sand dunes. It’s interesting because as you drive closer to the coast the landscape abruptly changes from lush green fields of rice paddies to dry sand dunes in a matter of minutes. I struggled to find why these dunes exist in such a wet environment. What makes these dunes even more special is the untouched look of landscape. Walking a few hundred meters off the road you find the most interesting patterns in the sand, untouched by the feet of humans. It really made for some great photos.
