Blue hour at full moon night
Bergen, Norway
When I led a workshop in the Canadian Rockies winter, we encountered big wind gust, and five of my teammates were blown away about 100 meters. The snow got thrown high up to the sky, and it traveled across the lake with obvious trails. I held my tripod tightly and captured this scene, with my eyes full of tears and my mouth were filled with snow.
The Marmolata
with 3343 m the highest peak of the Dolomites during a cold winter sunrise.
Follow the trace of where Athabasca glacier used to be, there is the secret entrance of an ice cave. By touching the ice it feels like you can hear the glacier breathe and how it fight against the raising temperature through the history.

I finally got out and shot in some great conditions last night. There was a row of photographers up on Mam Tor when I arrived, all shooting the sunset, I wasn’t there for that, I was there to stretch my legs and wait for darkness to fall. I rattled off a few shots on the knoll the road snakes round and then moved to my favourite spot, this one. After scrambling up the steep side of the snow covered Tor, boots and buried in the snow, I set up again and waited for the cars to come.
I would usually remove distractions from the shot, but the light on the hill in the background was a skier trying to make the most of the conditions. I had a good chat to him when we were both about to head our separate ways. Cracking stuff!
