Found this nice vantage point looking towards Bedal and Sloan Peaks while out hiking a few weeks back and couldn’t pass up the chance to come back and photograph it with some nice evening light. I originally processed this in color but I think I prefer the monochrome version seen here.

Masca Saut is an idea about being in new heights and the joy of it.

There’s an elm tree on the river bank of the Tokachigawa River in Toyokoro, Hokkaido. The symmetrical shape of its leaves has attracted many visitors throughout the year. Toyokoro is where I was born and raised. My father photographed the tree for 10 years and so have I, for five years now. I don’t have a family home there any more, so I feel like the tree is my home.
