A little bit later than my other photo of the Posbank nature reserve, but still way tooo early, I took this photo. The sun was getting stronger by the minute. Sweeping in from the right, it looks like the fog is trying to escape the sunrise..

Upper Waterfowl Lake Panoramic by hannesnitzsche by hannesnitzsche

Upper Waterfowl Lake, Icefields Parkway, Alberta, Canada
I keep coming back to the images from Canada, last year. There are still a few gems hidden among thousands of images and I enjoy going back through these images and looking for stuff that hasn’t been processed yet. Like the image you see here.
This is a 5×5-image bracketed single-row pano shot on my Canon EOS 6D w/ 16-35mm f4L IS lens.

Salt River Stars Pano by RussellMcGuire by RussellMcGuire

I decided to go wonder around Salt River this past weekend and explore that part of Phoenix. It really is an amazing place but one thing really bothered me about it. I was surprised at how much litter was everywhere. I saw entire families, 15 to 20 people, just leave all their trash when they were done for the day. Not just a few bits of trash but entire garbage bags full of stuff. The entire part of the river was covered in trash. It just amazes me that people want to go and enjoy the beauty of nature but not clean up after themselves.
