Brief Moment of Optimism by scottyperkins by scottyperkins

Sometimes, even just a brief moment of light can restore optimism where it was once lost.

From the incomparable Grand Canyon National Park.

Perito Moreno by annagibiskys by annagibiskys

Perito Moreno Glacier is one of the most interesting natural attractions of the Argentine Patagonia. The day that I spent there, the weather changed several times from the storm to the burning sun, and again to the formidable. It was possible to shoot as the white ice under the sun and a blue ice under the clouds.
Optional joy – to walk in crampons on ice! 🙂

6 shots in pano.

Fantasy, Lake Matheson, New Zealand by PatrickMarsonOng by PatrickMarsonOng

Yup! Image manipulation it is! Trying out something different this time. Pushing it way over the edge plus I was inspired after reading all the comments on my friend’s topic of “Artography”.

This is a combination of images taken a couple of hours apart on my last New Zealand trip. This is Lake Matheson, a few km from the town of Fox Glacier. Catching some astro after sunset.

First shot was after sunset for a well lit foreground, and then the second one was on the other side of the lake for the milky way. Problem that time, milky way positioned on the far left side of the mountains and it was vertically oriented. HA! So, took another shot just the milky way. Combined the images in processing to produce something I dream of seeing!

Ok, back to the “real” world. Cheers and have a great week guys!

Btw, got my website up and running would love it if you drop by and check it out -> http://ift.tt/21uYZgo
