With hundreds of stores across the globe, IKEA has made a name for itself as a one-stop shop for affordable home furnishings. The downside to this, however, is that you can end up with exactly the same beds, tables, sofas and chairs as thousands of other people around the world. Luckily, a community of resourceful folks across the internet have been proliferating the notion that IKEA pieces are merely building blocks to help you create unique furniture customized for your home.
