In the flood tracks by Birkir Jónsson Earlier this year Eyjafjallajökull erupted and melting the Gígjökull. The water had to find it’s way out the the crater and down to see. This is where it came poring down. The massive flood full of sand and stones carved it’s way down. It carved its way through the rock bed and filled up the lagoon that once stood there.
