Une fin de journée de mars, au beau milieu du Parc national des Pyrénées , sur les hauteurs de Cauterets, mon œil a été attiré par ces cailloux recouverts d’un épais manteau neigeux qui me faisait penser à des moutons, j’ai donc décidé de sortir mon appareil pour exploiter ce magnifique endroit .

A late March day in the middle of the Pyrenees National Park, in the heights of Cauterets, my eye was drawn to these pebbles covered with thick snow which made ​​me think of sheep, so I decided out my camera to exploit this beautiful place.

Its not very often I work an image in B&W as I generally like to see things in nature for what they are within a colorful world.

But this image is the exception as it was screaming out to me, work it B&W. I liked the image but it just wasn’t working for me with the finished colored version.

This is an iconic tree in the Everglades National Park that goes by the popular name of the Z Tree. There are stories about how it’s unusual shape came to be. One of those stories is that the native americans bent it, and other trees in the area, to mark directions and locations. It is located right next to the main road but when looked at from the road it looks straight or crooked depending on where you are.
