Another lonesome tree by LeeVeeO by LeeVeeO

I took this picture unter an very dark and cloudy sky some weeks ago in Germany (same night as I shot “Duality”, the motorway trail capture). Unfortunately there was no wind to add more “drama” to the tree :-). So I tried to extend the exposure in bulb mode. After the second try I discovered this orange color tone which was invisible to my eye. Together with the rural trail it delivered a quite warm and peaceful composition. In the end I was happy with the result, hope you guys like it…

The Flaming Falls by erezmarom by erezmarom

As time progressed on a calm evening, it was clear that the sunset was going to be good. Very good. When it hit us, I realized this was by far the best conditions I’ve ever seen in Goðafoss. The conditions were just perfect: very little spray, pristine snow and icy crust, and of course, a flaming sunset! Needless to say, my ‘Winter Paradise‘ workshop group went berserk! If you’d like to experience and shoot these amazing locations yourself, please see the full details on the workshop webpage and join us next year.
