Solar Storm – Reykjanesviti, Iceland by orvaratli I know I am bit late with the solar storm the other day. It´s been 9 days since now but I have luckily been very busy photographing other things and not had much time to do much editing and posting.
This solar storm and the conditions to photograph it where perfect. Lots of snow on the ground, no wind, clear skies, no moon and lots of Aurora. Its is a once a year combo. http://flic.kr/p/bmJPVn
Snow Arch – Fljótsdalsheiði, Iceland by orvaratli In the highlands of east Iceland there are endless waterfalls rarely photographed. This one only 10min walk from the road falls sideways into a narrow gorge. In the back a small snow arch can be seen. By now it has probably melted and collapsed. http://flic.kr/p/f6XWmT
Pure Nature – Snæfellsnes, west Iceland by skarpi – www.skarpi.is Best View On Black
The waterfall “Kirkjufellsfoss” and Mt. Kirkjufell in Grundarfjordur, west Iceland. I had a long sleepless night driving around Snæfellsnes, visiting many of my favorite treasures of Iceland, during sunset and dawn.

Seljalandsfoss by DaveF(Footy) One of the joys of this waterfall is that you can walk behind it – assuming you are prepared to get a little wet obviously. The waterfall itself is 200ft high http://flic.kr/p/9QyM4s
