Giorno Perfetto by johannesnollmeyer by johannesnollmeyer

After meeting new friends, hiking through the mountains of the Cinque Terre all day, getting hit by a big wave in Riomaggiore and lots to laugh, we finally got rewarded in Vernazza with an incredible sunset and some great memories…and a salty camera. If you like my work, feel free to follow me on facebook, instagram and here on 500px, for sure!

Leave your mark. Don’t let the crowd erase it. by CarlosCaicedo1 by CarlosCaicedo1

There are objects we take for granted because they’ve been part of our daily lives since we can remember. They’re so well designed, modern technology hasn’t been able to improve. And their simplicity is remarkably welcome to the camera.

The simple, friendly little pencil is one of them. And it’s an extension of our brain.

A yellow pencil with sharp tip draws its own line despise being surrounded by multiple pencils showing only their erasers.

West Malaysia, Sunset by iankee by iankee

Always expect the unexpected when shooting either a sunrise or sunset. No matter how dull it looks, miracles can always happen the least you expect it. This was taken on a day where i could hardly see any sun. But it ended up this way, thanks to my perseverance.

Bodiam Castle by annie7 by annie7

A castle that is very close to where I live.
Set in the heart of an historic landscape, with spiral staircases, battlements and a portcullis, 14th century Bodiam Castle is one of Britain’s most picturesque and romantic ancient monuments. Windows where arrows were once fired, a tower that was once a look-out and ruins that were once walked upon by knights; this is a place where you can relive your childhood memories and let your imagination run riot.
In the impressive gatehouse is the castle’s original wooden portcullis, an extremely rare example of its kind. Enough of the interior ruins survive to give an impression of castle life and gruesome and surprising tales can often be heard from our miller’s wife, forester and other colourful characters from the past.

Thank you so much everyone for your wonderful comments and votes, much appreciated.
