The last rays of sunlight creeping over the horizon viewed from the foothills of Kep National Park.

We were lucky enough to catch this beautiful sunset whilst lounging by the pool at Vanna Hill Resort in Kep.

A Great Blue Heron stayed pretty close to the Wildlife Drive at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in Cambridge Maryland. I asked my father to move the car into just the right spot so I could include a lot of the foreground shrubbery to make for a bit more interesting composition. Without the green on the right it was a lot more reflected water which was quite bright and distracting from the heron. I thought this made it look more like the heron was in its habitat instead of just standing out in the open as it really was.
