Under the Sea by chriscusickphoto by chriscusickphoto

Blog | Instagram | Facebook | Two women take an after-hours stroll through Tongyeong’s Undersea Tunnel, South Korea. The tunnel was constructed during Japanese occupation in 1932 and was Asia’s first submarine tunnel, connecting the city of Chungmu to Mireuk Island. Nowadays, a series of bridges also link the island to the mainland, and so the tunnel has been pedestrianised. This shot was featured in the summer volume of Busan Haps in their article on Must See Korea, an excellent resource for photographers in all corners of the peninsula.
