The elegant State Capitol of Michigan in the beautiful city of Lansing.

Part of a photography series I’m working on of State Capitols across the US during election months. With all the negative press regarding the election process and candidates, I decided to stop by State Capitols and see the more positive side of things. To capture the uniqueness, beauty and personality of each one and meet the people who work there. Each one has such wonderful history, interesting architecture, and kind generous people.
