To enter the Blue Lagoon you must first brave the run through icy winds before slipping into its warm, steaming turquoise waters. On the day I took this shot I lay back and gazed up and the moody deep clouds sweeping past over head. How could I not brave the cold again to grab the camera and capture the richness of colour and tone that appeared so cold and yet so welcoming all at once…
