Unbelievable colors, unlike anything I’d seen before, made up one of the strangest landscapes in the world in the Danakil Depression. These lakes contain sulfuric acid, so care is needed while shooting them, but nonetheless they are a pleasure to shoot and watch. We’ll spend 4 days in the Danakil shooting a variety of volcanic landscapes including a close encounter with an active volcano on my ‘Earth, Wind and Fire ‘ Ethiopia photo workshop. If you’re interested in joining us, please see details on the workshop webpage and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
