Flapping Mallard by HermanWong by HermanWong

This is a male eclipse Mallard. I caught it flapping wings, and tried to get a complete sequence of of its action. Somehow the angle was not perfect, I could only use 3 shots in stacking. I duplicated 2 of the 3 shots and applied radial blurr and perpective warp to make this sequence complete. Heard that an 1D full frame model of a famous brand DSLR can fire 14 frames in one second. That maybe Photo birder’s dream machine.
It is interesting to learn that Mallard is the ancestor of all domestic duck breeds, except Muscovy Duck. They are monogamous, but males like to have extra-marital affair (just like humans).
