This is one of Kangaroo Island’s icons that I’ve not been able to shoot well in the past due to spray. This time round my secret weapon was kimwipes! Still, I ended up having to take off ND filters in the end as the added glass meant double the cleaning between frames for this image. The sea motion was taken with ND filters and the rest of the image taken without. It was a blazing sunset that lit up everywhere around the cave and kind of made me wish I could be in 2 places at once. Marianne and the kids were right behind me enjoying watching the fur seals play.
